Last week our community had genuine concern. Our home was at threat and the threat was very real.
We asked our community to reach out directly to the local representatives of Tamworth Regional Council and voice their concerns.
Your response was significant.
And they listened. With hundreds of emails in the inbox it’s hard not to.
We have now been given confirmation that the Anne St lease can be renewed and negotiations are in motion. Details are yet to be finalised but the future for our sport in Tamworth looks a lot brighter than it did last week..
To our immediate local community, we give a heartfelt thank you each and every one of you for speaking up. You did this and your voice was heard.
For the beginning of the new chapter we’ll be hosting a Hornets Re-Launch Party on Sun 19 July.
Next season (winter) sport registrations for all divisions are also now open.
